ADA and Ether up, XRP and BTC down

Cardano (ADA) gained the most value among the cryptocurrency majors in the last 24 hours.

At the time of writing (7am UK), ADA was up more than 5% to $1.35, 5% higher than its position a week ago.

Ethereum (ETH), the world’s second most valuable crypto, rose 1% to climb back above $2,500 and is 9% up over seven days.

Binance Coin (BNB) was also up slightly, reaching $323. It is 3% up over seven days.

Market leader Bitcoin fell close to $38,100 with a slight dip which puts it 5% lower than last Wednesday morning.

Ripple’s XRP coin dropped almost 1% towards 71 cents. However it is 11% up in a week.

Meme coin Dogecoin (DOGE) shed more than half a percentage point and remains below 20c. It is 4% down over seven days.

Terra (LUNA) and Perpetual Protocol (PERP) were the big winners among the top 100 coins, gaining around 18% apiece. Stacks (STX) fared the worst, dropping 10%.

The cryptocurrency market gained 0.5% in value in the last 24 hours, with the 11,000+ coins now worth a collective $1.56 trillion.
